Creating a Product

Everything you sell in CSAware — a CSA share, an add-on, or a standalone item — starts here. This first screen names the product and sets its type; the next screens collect the details (sizes, pricing, payment types/SKUs, and the catalog description).

Step 1: Name and type

  1. Product Name — what members see in your catalog (for example “Spring Vegetable Share” or “Dozen Eggs”). You can change it later.
  2. Type — choose how the product is sold:
    • CSA subscription — a recurring share delivered on a schedule. You’ll link it to a CSA Share.
    • Companion product — an add-on sold only to current subscribers alongside their share.
    • Standalone — available for purchase by non-subscribers.
    • Bundled SKUs — a product whose options are grouped and sold together.
  3. If you choose CSA subscription, also select which CSA Share the listing applies to.
  4. Click Next to continue to the product details.
