What are patch orders?

Patch orders will occur between deadlines (after order deadline, before final deadline) when a scheduled auto-billing fails. Failure can be due to an expired credit card or updated billing address, both admin and members will be notified of failed billing and our system will re-attempt to bill once the customer's billing information has been updated (if before final deadline.)
