Quick Scheduler is a feature that makes it much easier for your members to purchase add-ons. Your subscribers will be able to quickly and easily add add-on products into their scheduled boxes directly from the box details / customization page!
To activate this, go to Home/Settings and click on the new Quick Scheduler option at the bottom of the left menu. From this page, you can turn on Quick Scheduler and control which add-on products will be offered from your subscribers' box details pages. Choose to show all add-ons, only single delivery add-ons, or a curated list.
Members will be able to add items to their delivery as part of the usual box customization process, and will be billed for their added items at order deadline.
If you use the Quick Scheduler, the ability for members to edit their own add-ons is not optional and will apply to all add-ons. Therefore, it does not matter if they purchase from the storefront or add from the quick scheduler, all add-ons will allow members to edit themselves (within the deadlines, of course).
When a quick scheduled product is added, the system schedules the add-on (similar to a PO), so at the order deadline, they are billed for their box credit and any add-ons. Stock is reduced at the order deadline when orders are being billed, and if more orders come through than available stock, then any necessary orders are pushed to the following week. If you have tight stock on certain items/skus, it is not recommended to use these products in the Quick Scheduler.
All of the regular product settings apply here. Meaning it follows the chosen scheduled, billing, specific weeks, share restrictions, drop restrictions, etc. For example, if you have a product only available with the meat subscriptions, veggie subscribers will not see it as an option even if added to the Quick Scheduler setting. Or if it's only single delivery, recurring options will not appear. Add-ons added to the quick scheduler appear in all future boxes, unless otherwise restricted in the products' settings.
