How can I find humanely raised meat on LocalHarvest?

Some of our members hold certifications for humane raising, handling and processing (slaughter) of their animals. These certifications are: Certified Humane, and American Humane Association’s American Humane Certified.

Certified Organic, Certified Naturally Grown, and Biodynamic/Demeter Certified also all include regulations for humane raising and handling of animals.

It's important to note that some farms follow humane practices but are not certified. If you have questions about a particular farm, please contact the farm directly for more information.
