Shipping Ratio

The percent shown in the "shipping ratio" box represents the cost of your shipping as compared to the cost of your product. For stores with a Minimum Order, the percent- ratio takes into account the minimum dollar amount required to complete a purchase.

The Ratio box color coding indicates whether your pricing is within the recommended shipping-to-product cost ratio of 20%. See "Setting Your Shipping Prices" below.

We recommend that you price your item within this "20% or less" zone (colored green). Some items may not fit within this "sweet spot". The goal is to achieve pricing within the green or yellow zone. Red indicates that the cost of shipping is 35% or more than the cost of the product.
