With the increasing variability and options of CSAs using our platform in mind, and with the expanding popularity of home delivery, we recently implemented some much-needed fine-tuning to our delivery fee billing structure.
Up until recently our system billed delivery fees per box for each day of delivery. Many of our farms offer multiple concurrent share types and box options to their customers. In some cases, this may have resulted in duplicate delivery fees paid on single deliveries, and similar confusion in the past. To amend this moving forward, our system now bills one delivery fee per user and drop location, by keeping track of “delivery fee credits”. This will account for separate delivery fees for multiple drop locations per day, as well as properly consolidate fees for multiple share types/boxes/standalones scheduled for a single delivery to a location on a given day.
